Executive Director’s Corner

Dear Friends and Supporters of the Center for Hope,

Welcome to our online community!

This is an exciting time to become acquainted or get reacquainted with the Center for Hope (CFH). Please join us in our mission to end homelessness in the City of Philadelphia. Our approach is to move people forward with care and hope towards housing, opportunities, purpose and empowerment. Center for Hope is grateful for the continued support of our generous, primary funder, the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Homeless Services.

Our recent development shows continued progress in our commitment to soliciting and generating groundbreaking ideas, leveraging resources, sharing information, and fostering open communication. We firmly believe that homeless people are not the problem but rather the result of systematic issues. Each of us has the opportunity to take on the challenge of confronting and ending homelessness; and no effort is too small! Never think that what you have to offer is insignificant.

There will always be someone out there that needs your offering.

I invite you to become an Ambassador of Hope and support our work and our mission by making a monetary contribution; becoming a partner, sponsor, or volunteer; or by donating goods or services. Your support is much appreciated!

DONATE!

As we look toward the future, the Center for Hope is positioned to meet 21st century challenges and to continue serving at the forefront of innovation and collaboration. This is only possible because of our strong management team, the dedication of our talented staff, the beneficial relationships that we have developed with key stakeholders, city government, and community partners, and our unwavering commitment to our community members.

Our priorities are clear, now more than ever, as we strive to remove barriers to securing housing for all. As Nelson Mandela once said, “Overcoming poverty is not a task of charity. It is an act of justice!”  We are very excited about what the future holds for the Center for Hope, and its continued service to our community.

Best Regards,

Robin Ingram
