What We Do

Shelter Housing – Our primary function is to provide on-site emergency shelter utilizing a Housing First model. We assist and support community members with identifying life situations and barriers to success so they can generate solutions to overcoming challenges and secure housing. The aim is to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring.

Case Management – Our staff of case management professionals work with community members to achieve greater stability in the face of the vulnerability caused by homelessness. With the help of case managers, community members achieve greater levels of self-efficacy as they return to the broader community. Case managers meet with community members one-on-one to conduct intake, develop an individualized service plan and help them to meet the goals of their service plans and achieve housing. They also provide vital resource information to community members, refer them to partnering providers for support services, and monitor and document service provision.

Support Services – Center for Hope believes that by educating community members with valuable tools and information, we can help individuals combat the cycle of homelessness and poverty. We have partnerships with organizations providing drug and alcohol outpatient treatment services, medical and nursing support, HIV counseling, testing and referral services, educational and financial literacy, job training and apprenticeship programs, mental health care, physical fitness and wellness services, and housing fairs.
