Programs
A Comprehensive Approach
At Center for Hope, we believe in meeting each individual where they are. Our programs are designed not just to provide shelter, but to offer a pathway to stability, independence, and renewed confidence.

Emergency Shelter & Housing
The Center for Hope provides short-term emergency housing for single men and women experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia. Through referrals from the City’s Office of Homeless Services, residents receive a safe, structured, and supportive living environment that prioritizes stability and dignity.
The facility offers secure sleeping quarters, daily meals, laundry and hygiene facilities, and on-site safety monitoring to ensure a stable place to regroup and rebuild.
Case Management
Center for Hope offers structured, personalized case management designed to support men and women experiencing homelessness as they work toward stability and independence. Each resident meets twice monthly with a dedicated Case Manager who helps assess needs, set goals, and monitor progress across areas such as housing, employment, education, health, and financial planning.
Case management functions as the core of the Center’s program model—providing consistent guidance, accountability, and encouragement. Through this relationship-centered approach, residents receive the tools and support necessary to move confidently toward self-sufficiency and re-engagement with the broader community.

Workforce Readiness & Skill Building
Center for Hope’s education-based model addresses financial literacy, job readiness, and the life skills necessary to disrupt cycles of poverty and homelessness. Our services combine immediate housing with education-based support that helps participants rebuild their lives through practical tools, restored confidence, and meaningful opportunities.
We provide our residents with the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to pursue employment and long-term career goals. Through job readiness training and skill-building opportunities, residents can, develop workplace skills and build practical skills that support greater independence.
Medical and Mental Health Support Services
At the heart of our program is a commitment to meeting each individual where they are, and offering the steady support of medical support, and safety personnel who understand the complexities of homelessness. We provide assistance with medication management, medical access, and emergency response. Center for Hope strives to ensure that individuals with medical needs are supported in ways that prioritize safety and well-being.
Our supportive services see each resident as a whole person with the capacity to reclaim agency and direction. Through intentional relationship-building, structured support, and opportunities to grow, the Center for Hope works alongside community members as they move toward stability, permanent housing, and renewed confidence in their ability to thrive.
